Basic Wire Strippers
These are basic wire strippers we have used, and are a good starter pair for your electronics work. They have a set screw that can move to lock in a specific hole size. We like to have several pair around so we can set them and leave them for different size wire and not have to adjust them each time as it takes a little doing to get them dialed in for good performance. If you are just doing hobby work, you can just free hand the setting and you will get really good at using them without cutting through the wire you are trying to just strip. These are not top of the line, so if you are doing work that requres high precision everytime, you will want to buy a nice $20-$30 pair. Until then, use these to get you started with your fun projects!
